We approached the historic center, parking in the same place we did yesterday, after visiting Montrésor, right next to the cathedral, where we can do it for free.

Bourges Historic Center

Although we have to say that Bourges would give a lot, in our case and today is the day we return home, we decided to go around its old city, the part we believe is more interesting next to its cathedral and for which we get lost, as we usually do in this type of visits, without a fixed direction, willing to be surprised by its impressive medieval houses.

Historical Center. What to see in Bourges

Much of Bourges suffered a fire in the year 1487, watching as many of its buildings disappeared among the ashes, and then rebuilt, although this has not subtracted a bit of charm from the more than 300 things of wooden framework which you will cross as you travel through the main arteries of the city, among which you can not miss the Rue Bourbonnoux and the Rue d'Auron.
