2. Excursion to Burano, Murano and Torcello, one of the best excursions in Venice

Taking a vaporetto or a boat for an excursion to Murano and Burano from Venice is one of the best things to do in Venice. You can take the vaporetto in several places in the city, but if you are looking for a central place, there is a stop near San Marcos Square called San Zaccaria.

One of the essential places to visit in Venice is the Basilica of San Marcos, the most important church in Venice. Byzantine architecture this religious temple was built in 828 to keep the relics of St. Mark the Evangelist.
