Today is our third day of the trip to Turin in 3 days so having the flight late in the afternoon, we decided to get up a little later, when it is approximately 7:00 in the morning, to lengthen the day a little and start to continue with the itinerary that we have outlined for this Turin in two days We started yesterday enjoying a full day in Turin. In the end, between one thing and another, we went down to breakfast at the Grand Hotel Sitea lounge when it is approximately 8:00 in the morning.

Breakfast at Grand Hotel Sitea

After charging energies in the breakfast room of the Grand Hotel Sitea, where we enjoy an exquisite selection of sausages, different breads and natural juices and a coffee that is really amazing, how could it be otherwise in Italy, we get underway to start our second day of the tour in Turin in two days, which will take us to the Valentino Park, one of the best-known green areas of Turin, which looks especially spectacular at this time of the year, when the colors of autumn have already made their appearance and seem to want to waste prominence in all corners of the Park.

Valentino Park

The day has dawned quite cloudy and it is quite cold, but really as soon as we get to the park and realize that the colors of autumn have done their special work, we forget the temperatures and we only focus on enjoying this area of Turin that has Left this time of year really amazing. We advise you that if you can visit Turin in two days, dedicate one of them, especially if it is Sunday, to this park, since this day of the week is the moment in which the Turinese enjoy this area of the city walking or doing sports, giving the park a very special atmosphere.

Valentino Castle in Valentino Park

It is in the Valentino Park where the famous sculpture of the bench with the two lanterns embraced. We have to say that we had searched the internet for the unsuccessful location, so our walk in the park is not limited to that, but we also pay special attention to the corners that we find more attractive looking for that sculpture than after see her in a photo, we decided that we could not stop knowing. After touring many areas of the park, thinking that we were not going to find it, we have probably found it in the most beautiful location in which it could be located.

Surrounded by flowers and trees that look spectacular with autumn colors, we sit next to them To enjoy the tranquility of the area, just check the itinerary of this Turin in two days, and above all, finish savoring the hours that we have been traveling through this lung of the city and that we could hardly do looking for the sculpture.

Valentino Park

So that the same thing does not happen to you, we leave you the exact location so that you can find the bank much faster than we do, although we assure you, it is worth walking through the rest of the Valentino Park and enjoying this green area in the city.

After being here for a while and approaching the Valentino Castle, we leave the park arriving at Viale Stefano Turr, which is the street that runs parallel to the Po River and that at this time in the morning, as the Valentino Park is full of people practicing Sport and walking.

Viale Stefano Turr. Turin in two days

You can also get to the Turin Automobile Museum by subway, although if you have time, we advise you to at least walk it, just as we have done, since it is worth and very worth enjoying this somewhat remote area from the most tourist city.
Almost without realizing it, we arrived at the doors of the Turin Automobile Museum when it is approximately 12 noon and where we entered after paying 12 euros per person. Free admission if you have the Torino + Piemonte Card.
As we did yesterday at the Cinema Museum, we would not like to explain too much or show too many images, since we believe that part of the grace is in the surprise it causes in the people who visit it.

Automobile Museum Turin

Automobile Museum Turin in two days

What we will tell you is that the Automobile Museum, even if you are not a special lover of cars, is worth a visit, since it takes a tour of the history of the automobile, something so important here in Italy, which is the most interesting.

Automobile Museum Turin

Automobile Museum Turin in two days

In the end, we make a fairly quick tour, since we do not entertain ourselves too much in the most historical details, being here just over an hour, long enough if you want to get a general idea of the museum and enjoy some of the most representative cars of the history.
A good way to learn about the history of the museum and the most important cars is to book this guided tour in Spanish.

Automobile Museum Turin

Being the time it is and being on the site that we are we can do nothing but approach to Eataly, located a few meters from the Automobile Museum, which is one of the best known brands of Italian cuisine. This brand is not a specific product, but refers to a kind of shopping centers, focused on food and Italian products. We met him on our trip to New York in 11 days, where they have one of their branches and when we saw that the first one was founded in Turin and that it was right next to the museum we wanted to visit, how could it be otherwise, what we chose as the perfect place to eat this second day of the tour to Turin in two days.

Eataly

In the end we decided on one of their restaurants where we ordered an entree, which is a rice cake with black truffle plus a pasta dish with black truffle and a parmigiana, more water and bread and wine for 39 euros.

Fresh pasta with black truffle. Eataly

After this meal we go down to the ground floor of the center where we take the opportunity to make a desktop with a dessert and a couple of coffees with which we charge energy to start again the itinerary we had for today in the Turin in two days.
Right in front of Eataly we find the shopping center that houses the old Fiat factory known for having a car test track on the roof. Seeing that we still have time, we decided to go there and make this visit, for which we need to look for some information on the internet since it is not too clear, to say nothing, the information in the Mall to get here.

It's a little after 4:30 in the afternoon when we finish this visit and decide that it's time to go back to the hotel to pick up our bags and go to the airport. The initial idea is to make the almost 4 km that separates us from the Grand Hotel Sitea on foot but we just take the ride on the subway street, so being here, we decided to save those almost 4 kilometers and take the subway that will take us directly from Spezia stop to Porta Nuova, which is a few meters from the hotel.

The price of the subway is 1.50 euros per person and route and it takes five stops to reach our destination, where we also take the opportunity to buy the bus tickets that will take us back to the airport from Turin, for 6.50 euros per person.

With the tickets already in hand we will go through our bags and after resting for a while in the lounge of the Grand Hotel Sitea we return to the station, to the bus stop that is directly in front of the Costadoro Bar, to take the bus that in 50 minutes will leave us at the Turin airport.
After passing the controls we approach one of the restaurants where we ate a couple of pizzas plus soft drinks and two coffees for 22 euros, a price more than adjusted if we take into account that we are in the airport and after resting for a while, when they are At 9:30 at night we start boarding the plane that will take us back home after enjoying this trip to Turin in three days, with which the countdown begins for another of the great trips of the year: Chile and Easter Island, in which we will embark in less than a month.
