Switzerland Map

Switzerland is a country that despite being in the center of many cultures, has managed to maintain its own in an independent way.
Its capital is Bern, city that we will also visit in this trip to Switzerland in 5 days.
The Swiss currency is the Swiss franc, official abbreviation CHF. Swiss francs are divided into 100 cents. There are bills of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 1000 francs and coins of 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, as well as 1, 2 and 5 francs.
We can find ATMs, 24 hours a day, in practically the whole country.
It is possible to pay in euros in most establishments, where the exchange is then returned in Swiss francs.
The use of credit cards today is already deeply rooted and it is possible to use them, although the most common are Visa and MasterCard.

EU citizens, Norwegians and Icelanders can enter Switzerland without a visa. A maximum stay of 90 days is allowed, but they rarely seal passports.

One of the best ways to enjoy a trip to Switzerland in 5 days is to do it by rental car. It is advisable to book it in the country of origin, since it is much cheaper.
The minimum age to rent a car is usually 25 years, although some local companies accept 20 years. A credit card is always required when removing the vehicle.
The roads in Switzerland are well signposted and maintained annually.
You can drive on almost all roads, including mountain roads throughout the year.

The high season in Switzerland includes the months of July and August and the period between December and April, coinciding with the ski season.
The average season is from April to June, which is when many lodging and September offers are included.
At this time, as long as the weather accompanies, it is possible to enjoy an explosion of nature when spring comes.
