SLEEPING FOR… KUALA LUMPUR I

As soon as I saw from outside the “Sarang Vacation Homes”I fell in love: and in a city like Kuala Lumpur where the vast majority of buildings are hotels and skyscrapers (especially in the bukit bintang area where I am) a typical 1920s Malaysian house is something so beautiful that you can't love it!

The first thing you see when you arrive is a small but nice little garden where you can read, write or play with the kittens that walk around.

Once inside the charm does not stop: the entrance hall, where every day you will have a very rich breakfast (roti canai, egg roti, sweet roti, fruit ...) is very nice with super high ceiling and vintage tiles. On the top floor are the 3 bedrooms: all spacious, bright, with large and comfortable beds, wardrobe, fan, air conditioning and good decoration. Without doubt the word that best describes them is: cozy.

The bathroom is exterior (there are 3: one shower, only one toilet and for the most demanding (¿!) Shower and toilet together! Clean and new (and with well scented soaps!)

Guests can also enjoy a living the beautiful sea: with TV, books and a sofa where to chat with other travelers or study the maps that their owners give you along with a few useful tips ... come on I understand why it is No. 1 from tripadvisor!

Another point in favor is the location: a step away from the bukit bintang area (5 min from Jalan Alor, the most famous street food street in Kl!) And a chinatown walkway (if you don't feel like walking you don't worry ... there are free buses that take you to Petaling Street!)

But the best of the place is undoubtedly its people: both Cristina, its owner (with whom I cooked jiji croquettes) and Anita and Terry are super attentive, generous people and will take care of you as if you were at home!

Come on ... I loved it.
