First day in Florence

The first day of the route in Florence in 3 days, start early visiting the Battistero di San Giovanni, the Campanile de Giotto and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the three jewels of the Piazza del Duomo. Of these three buildings do not miss the views from the Campanile and from the dome of the Cathedral, the Paradise Gate of Battistero and the paintings inside the dome.
Keep in mind to prepare your visits that the Battistero and Campanile open at 8: 15h, the viewpoint of the dome of the cathedral at 8: 30h and the interior of the Cathedral at 10h.

After the visits you can walk through the narrow streets around Piazza del Duomo and walk to Piazza della Repubblica and the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo, which has on one of the sides the famous sculpture of Porcellino.
The next stop on the route will be at Piazza della Signoria, the most important square in the city with several incredible sculptures and the famous Palazzo Vecchio.

Second day in Florence

The second day of Florence in 3 days It begins with a visit to the Church of Santa María Novella and the Medici Chapel, two of the essential places to visit in Florence. In the chapel are the tombs of the powerful Florentine family of the Medici and there is a chapel designed by Michelangelo.
The next stop on the route is the Accademia Gallery, where Michelangelo's David is located, the most famous sculpture in the world.

When leaving the museum you can wander through the old town stopping in front of the House of Dante, author of the Divine Comedy, before continuing to the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce, a rectangular square in which it is almost mandatory to visit the Church of Santa Croce, where Michelangelo, Galileo Galiei and Machiavelli are buried.

What to see in Florence in 3 days

On this last day we recommend doing some of those considered by travelers as best excursions in Florence.

The first recommendation for the Florence in three days It would be an excursion by train or bus to the well-known city of Pisa. Beyond its famous leaning tower, there are several essential places to see in Pisa such as the Cathedral, the Baptistero and the historic center, among others.

Pisa

One of our favorites in this region is San Gimignano, a town frozen in time that still retains several medieval towers.
